    • Probably best sushi in town
  • yamamoto sushibar (map, €€)
    • Once best Sushi in town
    • Ramen is not as good as Ichi Go Ichi E
    • Note 2023-01-14: Haven't been at yamamoto for years. I've heard that food quality has declined.
  • Miss Cho (map, €€€)
    • Really great Asian fusion kitchen
  • Nudelhaus (map, €)
    • previously: BoboQ and Panda Asia Graz (map, €)
    • Very authentic Chinese restaurant, self-made noodles, Dim Sum and more
  • Taj Mahal (map, €€)
    • Best Indian food in town
    • my recommendations:
      • Keema Samosa
      • Lassan Naan
      • Seasoned Rice
      • Lamm Taj Mahal (lamb)
  • Ichi Go Ichi E (map, €€)
    • Best Ramen in town

     • Great burgers but I definitely can not recommend the service

     • Good burgers with very good price/value ratio
     • 2023-01-14: they were gone for a couple of months because of bankruptcy but re-opened in 2022-12. They're not associated with the chain Burgerista any more it seems.
• Steaks
  • Steak Boutique (map, €€)
    • One of the best steaks in town
  • El Gaucho (map, €€€)
    • Great steaks
• Austrian Kitchen
  • Brandhof (map, €€)
    • Good old Austrian kitchen with many rarities you can't find elsewhere any more
  • Schlossbergrestaurant (map, €€€)
    • Great food with a breathtaking view over Graz
  • Mohrenwirt (map, €€€)
    • Really good heavy food
  • Herzl Weinstube (map, €€)
    • Great Austrian food in the center of the Bermuda Triangle of Graz
  • Kirchenwirt Herz Jesu (map, €€)
    • Good Austrian standard kitchen
    • Nice outdoor tables with direct view to Herz-Jesu-Kirche
  • Gasthaus Griesbauer (map, €€)
    • A bit outside of Graz (nice, small bike tour) but it has a lovely outdoor restaurant area.
• Italian
  • Don Camillo (Franziskanerplatz, Murpark, €€)
    • One of the best pizza in town
  • Pizzaiolo (map, €€)
    • One of the best pizza in town
  • Pizzeria Calabriesella (map, €€)
    • no homepage → see OSM for details and this toot for house rules
  • Pizzorante Salomoni (map, €€€)
    • no homepage but this covers it
    • Cash-only, each person must consume 20€ or more
    • Pizza is about 25€ but it is really good
  • El Pescador im Rathaus (map, €€)
    • Maybe the best restaurant in Graz for fish.
    • One of the few places to get decent oysters.
• Miscellaneous
  • La Meskla ("the mixture", map, €€)
    • Peruvian, South American, Vegetarian Friendly, good cocktails
  • Artis (map, €€€)
    • Fancy kitchen, extremely great
  • Hummel (map, €€)
    • Levant kitchen
    • Recommendation: Mezze classic with the sweet chicken. You also get bio-feta in sesame which is delicious!
  • Café Moses (map, €, opening hours)
    • Previously known as "Café Beirut"
    • Lebanese kitchen (vegan, vegetarian)
    • It's really a tiny restaurant with few and small tables
    • Owner is very friendly
    • Ask for the 10€ special where you get a variety of almost everything
    • Best hummus in town
  • Frankowitsch (map, €€)
    • Classic downtown sandwich but really great ones
  • Steckerlfisch & Friends (map, €€)
    • A bit outside of Graz, best reachable by bicycle
    • Only in Summer for weekends and fine weather
    • Chilled atmosphere directly at the river Mur
    • Fish on a stick and more
  • Bar Amouro (map, €€€)
    • Best cocktails in Graz
    • Small and good dishes, stylish interior
    • A bit in-crowd
  • Café Promenade (map, €€)
    • Small and very fine dishes
    • Great ambiance in Stadtpark Graz
  • Rangoon (map, €€)
    • Great cocktails!
  • Ginko (map, €€)
    • Awesome vegetarian food.
  • Ernst-Fuchs-Bar (map, €€)
    • Great cocktails and great atmosphere.
  • Schmidhofer im Palais (map, €€€)
    • Fancy restaurant with great kitchen.
  • Das Leo (map, €€)
    • A very nice bike tour outside of Graz with good food.

  • Steirerpub: bad smells of alcohol from previous day's party; on the plus side: good Haggis on pre-order!
