My blog is generated by lazyblorg. Whenever I include an image file, I add the tag "publicvoit" (the name of my blog) to its set of tags. This way, that tags indicates that I must not delete or should not rename that file without risking an error message when I re-generate my blog the next time.
Maybe you've got some requirements for similar indicator tags in your workflows as well? A file was sent to a specific customer? Something got checked by your boss already?
