There is a 51 minute video of a presentation on QubesOS by Micah Lee which is a journalist at The Intercept and board of Freedom of the Press. He gave the talk at HOPE in July in New York City.
QubesOS is a GNU/Linux distribution optimized for being highly secure due to compartmentalization using Xen virtualization between a bunch of different OS instances, partly being just temporary instances. Previous year, I wrote a blog post after I tested QubesOS v3.2. The most current version now is 4.0.
Lee also wrote a blog article on QubesOS in 2014.
If you're interested in a good overview on how you can profit from the QubesOS features and its fairly good usability integration, take your time and watch the video.
