On Twitter, I've seen "favorite orders of the months" before although
I haven't archived their URLs.

This is my personal order for [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Months][the months]] with respect to their status
in my favorite list:

   - Everything is in bloom, many holidays (days off), weather gets warm but not too hot.
2. [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/June][June]]
   - Warm weather but not too hot. End of school season so I do less sporting stuff.

   - Warm weather but not too hot. No school season so I do less sporting stuff.
4. [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August][August]]
   - No school season so I do less sporting stuff.
5. [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September][September]]
   - Depending on the year, this has some very nice and warm days to offer while school (and therefore my sporting stuff) starts again.

   - Christmas parties, holidays with days off and Christmas markets.

   - Last warm days of the year but the days are getting shorter.

   - Mixed weather but Spring is coming to life.

   - Depressing weather and shorter days for almost half a year.

    - As dull as February but it usually starts with a few days off.

    - The only positive thing here is that the end of Winter is in sight.

    - Really nothing going on, weather not fine, no holidays, still not enough daylight, mostly dull.

As you can see, my focus is on a few things. I'm not that keen on
Winter sports, I do love in-door Volleyball and I join a weekly
[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit_training][circuit training]] course. Both can only happen when there is school and
no Covid lock-down. Therefore, I favor the warmer season while it is
[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austria#Climate][not too hot here in Austria]]. My favorite weather is when I may leave
the house without long sleeves of some sort for the whole day without
freezing.

In the Winter season, there is much less going on. There are no
holidays, usually just a few events, no vacation, nothing to enjoy
much actually.
