Listening to [[https://minkorrekt.de/mi205-mettbett/][the podcast episode 205 of Methodisch inkorrekt]] I learned
about [[https://worldbicyclerelief.org/][World Bicycle Relief – Changing Lives With Bicycles]].

If you do understand German, I would like to motivate you to listen to
the approximately thirty minutes of the podcast (near the end of the
episode). They talk about the whole concept, which is so much more
than just shipping bikes. There are workflows in place that make sure
that the goals are met and the right people are getting the benefits.

When you enable simple transportation possibilities via bicycles in
environments that do not have public transportation or cars, you do
help so much more than just people driving from A to B. You help young
girls so they can visit a school, you develop local structures for
business, you even prevent unwanted pregnancy. This really has a big
impact while enabling people to help themselves.
