He, as some tech-loving guy who enjoys being alone for a while, is worried.
It is not only an opinion. He also cites studies that show that human interaction is coupled with well-being. And less human interaction with less well-being.
Even social media is the opposite of its name: "a lot of social media is a simulation of real social connection".
