I just tested [[http://280slides.com/][280 Slides]] and I am kind of
impressed how comfortably you can create simple screen presentations
without having to use an installed tool like
[[http://www.openoffice.org/product/impress.html][OOo Impress]] or
[[http://office.microsoft.com/powerpoint][MS Powerpoint]]. It's got a
nice GUI like Apple Keynote and offers basic tools like inserting
pictures or movie clips.

But I also have to admit, that I did not try
[[http://www.google.com/a/help/intl/en/var_1c.html][Google apps]] or
similar services yet.

At 280 Slides, you can download your presentation in the MS Office 2007
format =pptx=. So you have got at least something in case the services
goes down.
