Here is a 1h23m screencast video by Niklas Carlsson who is demonstrating some advanced example of usages for Emacs Org mode:
- brief intro to Org mode
- literate programming (babel):
- working with source code
- connecting blocks using noweb
- note taking
- working with Docker images
- visualizations
- performance analysis
- calculations
- export to PDF
- interactive working with PDF files
- blogging with hugo
This is recommended for two groups of people. First, the people who are already using emacs and do like to get new ideas on things that are possible for you in future. Second, the group of people who are tech-savvy but who do think that emacs is some old-style editor (only) which does not provide any benefit compared to modern software.
You will be surprised - I promise.
